Immigrant Investor Program
Subject to Final Approval of Quebec Immigration Regulations
The Quebec Immigrant Investor Program (QIIP) has been the preferred Canadian business immigration program since 1986. It is the ONLY passive investment immigration program in Canada - status is not conditional on starting or actively managing a business in Canada.
Successful applicants make a deposit with the Government of Quebec and interest generated from those funds is used to support the economy of Quebec by funding programs that support local businesses, and government initiatives.
Requirements:
The applicant must have:
- Applicants must demonstrate they have previous management experience, and a legally accumulated net worth of CAD$2,000,000
- Once approved, applicants must invest CAD$1,000,000 (financing available)
- After being approved and settling in Quebec, investors will need to demonstrate a minimum level of French before being permanently selected
